Introduction

This two-day activity-based popular workshop examines the importance of managing people, resources and time to meet project objectives. Besides project planning tools, you will also learn people and change management skills that are essential to complete a project successfully. You will know how to monitor the progress and keep a project under control. You will be taught project scheduling tools like schedule development, work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, logic diagrams and critical path analysis. You will study work dependencies and how to crash critical paths.

About the facilitator

Jean Ng has more than 20 years of successful careers with CompuServe, Duty Free Shoppers, Hutchison, Motorola, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sime Darby in accounting, auditing, customer service, sales, marketing, business development and general management. Prior to joining WorldBridge, Jean was the Director managing CompuServe, which is the first Internet portal and community in Hong Kong. Using project management tools, she launched the business in 1993 and built it into a multi-million dollar profitable unit. At the same time, she was also managing a series of customer service projects to meet Motorola six sigma standards. Her project management skills were acquired since 1984 when she was managing many auditing and ad hoc projects for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jean is a qualified Certified Public Accountant and marketer. She has trained many participants from adidas Int'l Sourcing, Business Week, Caterpillar, CLP Power, Dept of Health, Environmental Protection Department, Henkel Loctite, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hongkong Land, Hospital Authority, HSBC Asset Management, Huhtamaki, Infineon Technologies, Invesco, John Swire & Sons, Johnson Electric, McDonald's, Nike, G4S, Shell, Swarovski, Swire Beverages, The Dairy Farm Co, The Thomson Corporation, Thomson Reuters, Towngas Telecommunications and many other organisations.
