In this two-day highly interactive and popular workshop, finance and accounts are explained from your or management perspective by a qualified accountant with experience in general management, sales, marketing and customer service. You will break the barrier to accounts and accounting terms and start to make sustainable long-term decisions as you will now understand the financial implications of your actions. You will learn to read and interpret financial statements and be able to make better bottom-line decisions that optimise results in line with short- and long-term performance goals. You will also understand how others evaluate your financial results and determine the financial well being of your organisation. You will also learn about analysing break-even and profitability as well as get tips to building an effective budget for management control.

About the facilitator |

Jean is a certified public accountant and qualified marketer. She has more than 20 years of successful careers with Sime Darby, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Duty Free Shoppers, Hutchison, CompuServe and Motorola in accounting, auditing, business development and general management. While in Motorola, she started the CompuServe.com business in 1992 and uses her marketing and finance background to turn the business around. She thus holds the record of running the first profitable .com business in Greater China.
